Ontario residents can take OSAP to approved schools outside Canada — and a family of awards funds exchanges, research stays and full degrees abroad.
- OSAP for study abroad — approved public/private schools worldwide; outside-Canada weekly maximums apply; verify the school is approved (or request approval) first.
- EduCanada scholarship hub — country- and program-specific awards for Canadians going abroad.
- Fulbright Canada — US$25,000 for 8 months of U.S. graduate study/research (2027-28 competition open; due November 15, 2026), plus entrepreneurship and Indigenous-research streams.
- Killam Fellowships — US$6,000/semester for undergraduate exchange to the U.S.
- Mitacs Globalink & RISE Germany — funded international research internships (RISE: $7,000 for 12 weeks in Germany).
