How rankings work

Objective results are ranked by:

1. Eligibility state — likely before possible, before needs-verification; "not eligible" results are shown separately with reasons.
2. Relevance — how well the option matches your goals, field, location and preferences.
3. Deadline & status — open and upcoming options before closed ones.
4. Freshness & completeness — recently verified, complete records rank ahead of stale ones.

What is never in the objective ranking: money. Commission, partnership status, sponsorship and payout terms are excluded from the ranking calculation by design — the ranking code has no access to commercial fields, and automated tests prove rankings don't move when commercial terms change.

Sponsored placements

If sponsored placements appear, they live in a separately-labelled "Sponsored" module, after objective results, marked with a badge and a disclosure. You can hide sponsored content entirely — your objective results are identical either way.
