Financing options
Money for education comes in very different shapes. Know which one you're looking at before you sign anything.
Grants, bursaries & scholarships
Money you generally don't repay (some carry service commitments). Start here — run the match or browse all funding.
Public student loans
Government loans through OSAP — interest-free federally, income-tested, with repayment assistance. Always compare these before any private product.
Private student financing
Loans or lines of credit from banks and private lenders. Costs, fees and terms vary widely. No private student-financing products are currently published on this site — any future product appears only after full terms and Ontario compliance approval.
Business financing
For starting or growing a business — including a training-related business. Not student aid, and never presented as a way to pay ordinary tuition.
